Overbeck Bridge up to Bell Rib which presents an imposing appearance from here. Then circuit of Yewbarrow, Red Pike, Pillar around Mosedale to Looking Stead and down Black Sail track to Wasdale Head. Then long seeming walk back down the road to Overbeck. Last section to Bell Rib is loose gully topped by a short scramble to the bump on the south end of the ridge, care needed when slippery (which it was).Aye Jimmy30/08/2015

Highest point is just off the path. Attempting to get to the furthest south point involves an awkward vertical scramble and should be left to the sheep.peebs13/08/2014

On the way down off Yewbarrow, last peak before the carpark. Deep snow on the top, but clear here, just wet. ***Re-visited 5 Apr 2019, quick nip up and down. Impressive from below, more so than when coming down off Yewbarrow. Nice scrambly route up a gully.jonglew18/03/2013
