From Meith Bheinn. Slabby, grassy rake off Meith Bheinn, rather slippery in the wet conditions. Over the col and picked an easy, grassy way to the top. Finally a hill with a great view after days of grey and low cloud bases. Headed west off the top, once below 450m all grassy, good going, picked up the fairly good grassy track north of the stream lower down the glen. Left along the main glen track, then retraced steps to Arieniskill.Owen B23/08/2023
From Arieniskill up and over to Meoble then path up the Slaite Coire then slips to ridge. Lots of rock nearing summit. Fine views but a long way back.N.Morters28/05/2023
2/3 With MKG after sleeping in bealach to S. Thick cloud, no view. Down to Todhail after. Rounsfell17/08/2021
Very fortunate and grateful that Topographer 57 arranged for 4 of us to stay at Meoble. From the bungalow, a rising traverse on the S side of Allt Slaite Coire crossing the 2 streams, 100m beyond the second, around a rocky nose to join a grassy slope alongside the stream up to Coire na Cloiche Moire. Over the W top to the summit. Down the E ridge until easy ground to the bealach below, then up Druim a' Chuirn. Descent down W ridge has many knolls and steep drops, all easily dodged, then down the coire to the path back to Meoble.Gill18/06/2021
A big thank you to all who helped to make the trip a success.Topographer5718/06/2021
Outstanding long route from Arieniskill. Meith Bheinn West Top, Meith Bheinn, An Stac, An Stac North Top, camped low down return along ridge. Continued to climb Druim a' Chuirn, descent to Slaite Coire, down to River Meoble before rough ascent to pass and return to car. Excellent 2 day weather window between days of rain.RobertP29/05/2019
Sgurr Thuilm - Sgurr nan Coireachan - An Stac - Druim a Chuirn - Meith Bheinn - Creag Bhån - Beinn nan Cabar. Descended from An Stac into Gleann Cul an Staca and wild camped at ~200m. Climbed Druim a Chuirn from the boggy col at 400m.Clive G02/05/2019
The Morar boat no longer a possibility. Walked in from Arienskill to Meoble. The higher descent path barely exists so had to make it up as I went along. Good path up from Meoble which seemed deserted. 4.75 hours to top. 4 hours back. Not a soul around all day. Perfect solitude. Highest palindromic Marilyn total. 1551.Campbell Singer29/04/2019
From Mallaig road. Meith Bheinn, Druim a'Chuirn, Beinn nan Cabar, Creag Bhan. 10.5 hours.PGCE01/03/2019

Viv's Morarboat to Oban bothy. Direct up hill between a V line between two burns, aiming for a large rectangular boulder at nearly 500m. A steep pull rewarded by easy line thereafter to summit. Day turned dreek as we went on to Meith Bheinn and Druim a' Chuirn before returning to the bothy via stalkers path in Glen Taodhail, crossed high up as now in spate!nordicstar10/08/2016
A great round of hills. Just a shame that the promised fine day did not materialise. So wet on the way out! Everything running water.jenx10/08/2016
Looked a long way on the map but didn't turn out too bad. Good path from A830 to Meoble road then path for a while by burn before reasonably easy ground to summit. Didn't know about Marilyns when I climbed Meith Bheinn otherwise I'd have combined the 2!AndrewFinnimore09/06/2016

£70 boat hire from Bracorins to the pier at Meoble.(20 mins.) Off at 9.30 on rough road to the foot path junction at 10.10. A lot of vehicles about, all of which must have come over by boat. Good footpath for 3/4 mile then a faint path continued on the N bank of the stream towards the bealach. Then uphill on a slanting line towards the visible horizon. Very steep grass for the last 500' Made for highest rocky prow on the horizon, then left everything behind to clanber up a final 50' rocky slab to touch the cairn - a solitary stone on the ridge. Took my hat off to prevent it being blown off as I put my head above the parapet. 12.15. Full length view of Loch Morar in the dull conditions. Gently down on grassy runs to a small lochan in the bealach. (to Meith Bheinn)arranc10/05/2012

Early morning round of Druim a'Chuirn and Meith Bheinn from Oban bothy while the rest of the residents slept off the previous night.Eddie15/11/1998
A bit of info: Met the ghillie at Allt an Loin. The estate has banned boat trips up Loch Morar and has threatened to evict the MBA from Oban bothy if any trips take place.Gillblank
