First day of last go at the Birketts. Light showers. Found a way up and down Castle Rock through head-high bracken. Then a pleasant walk up Castle Crag and The Benn. Joyce took the low road back to Castlerigg campsite while I walked back over 3 boggy and pathless Synges: Bleaberry Fell SE Top, Dodd Crag and Pike. Good views. | BURGESS | 02/07/2023 |

A lovely outlook over the Keswick area. As others have noted there is a difficult wall to cross between it and Bleaberry Fell. | Alan Moore | 14/10/2020 |
Parked in Keswick. Lovely quiet fell ground boggy in places. We sat for a while on our descent being ignored by 3 fell ponies who proceeded to pester us to the gate in the corner on leaving. After Walla Crag, Bleaberry Fell, High Seat, Bleaberry Fell SE Top continued onto Pike with Nick. | Jacqdaw | 18/09/2020 |
With Jacqui down from Bleaberry SE Top. Limited paths following line of fence but uneven ground and boggy in places. Wall to climb to avoid big detour.
This fell is a flat grassy top and looks much better from a distance. On to Pike Synge, pestered by annoying fell ponies - probably excited to have seen someone, as doubt many people apart from Synge baggers pass this way | Hillsidenick | 18/09/2020 |

A short afternoon round of 4 hills previously bypassed, this the last. From Bleaberry Fell SE Top and a steep descent to Shoulthwaite Farm over dead bracken (would be a pain in summer on this route). Then tracks and minor road back to car at Thirlmere Dam. | jonglew | 05/01/2018 |
From Bleaberry Fell SE top via main summit. Skiddaw and Blencathra looking fine in late afternoon sun/shadows. On to Pike. | Wycombe Wanderer | 12/11/2017 |
