A fast walk blast up in 42 mins from toe to top of Whiteside from Langthwaite with Lesley. Nice and steep on a good path just what I needed to sweat out a lurgi - dripping with sweat by top then walk / jog along the ridge bumps over all the edge tops to Hopegill Head. Near the end of a great walk. Got so into a quiz that I left my coat somewhere.Simba27/04/2014
Final hill on a round from Cinderdale Common taking in Grasmor, Hopegill Head etc. If approached from the W then this is an impressive little hill, but when coming off Whiteside it's just a stepping stone to the road.jonglew31/03/2014
Circular walk around Grassmoor. Easy ascent with good path. On progressing to Whiteside the obvious path goes to the right of the rocky knoll ahead, but there's an awkward short scramble that way. Look out instead for a path to the left of the rocky knoll which is only obvious on the descent, to avoid the scramble.ijpowell27/03/2014
