2/5. Parked on Corney Fell in area near trees, then 20 mins up to Barrow, drop down and worked round NW around edge of access area, down to the footpath over the beck to the farm beside the Stone Circle, then up Raven Cragg, round the head of the Corrie to revisit Stoupdale Head, then down to Grey Stones, and over beck to Knott, back up road to car. Heavy thunder storm, had to shelter on Grey Stones, bit frightening.nickywood114/06/2020

Surprisingly easy walk from Stoneside Hill (422m) up to Swinside Fell (456m) which should be the Synge. Raven Crag is much less deserving. Climbed wall to reach summit then reversed route back up to Swinside Fell. With Alfie.Dangerous Dave01/10/2018

2nd hill of 5 with my daughter, Katherine from Green Road station to Silecroft, climbing Knott hill from track, back to Sunkenkirk stone circle for sandwiches then nice chat with young farmer who was sheepishly explaining their Tup policy while chasing a wayward lamb. We took the fp climbing up then took the ridge upto the top. Fantastic views into the higher Lakeland fells plus the broad sweep of the estuary. Onwards to Stoupdale Head and the intermittent mist.Dazingdale01/04/2017
Parking on bridge 270m N of Cragg Hall - no charge to see the world class stone circle!jimbloomer06/03/2017
From Stoupdale Head on feint trods through tussocks. On down on bee line for Knott Hill.Eddie04/03/2017
From Stoupdale Head through a satisfyingly crunchy latticework of snow. Good view of the snow covered major fells. On to Gray Stones.Wycombe Wanderer20/11/2016
From the Corney Fell road top en route to Black Comb with Paul and Alf. The wall is irritating but just to the right of a blocked hog hole is a 'through' type farmers stile with two good steps on the summit side of the wall.mick04/06/2016
From Whitbeck church. Black Combe south top, Black Combe, Whitehall Knott, White Combe, Stoupdale Head, Grey Stones, Raven Crag and Stoneside Hill. 16 mile epic in some horrendous Lakeland weather!!AlunRees3120/07/2015

From SE, walked up lane to fine Swinside Stone Circle, then f/p round back of farm below craggy face. Gap in bracken leads to fine cairn, the summit lies above this. Rain arrived 2hrs earlier than expected.Aye Jimmy06/07/2015
