Track near Affric Lodge N, then W across moorland to Sgurr na Lapaich, along ridge via Mullach Cadha Rainich to Mam Sodhail, then N to Beinn Fhionnlaidh (contouring past Carn Eige on W side), via Stob Coire Lochan, returned over Carn Eige, then along E ridge over Stob a' Choire Dhomhain, Stob Coire Dhomhnuill, Sron Garbh, then descended to Gleann nam Fiadh to follow track out, but it was in such poor condition that I crossed the river and took the track S direct back to Affric Lodgekdbennett17/06/2018

From Strawberry cottage via Allt Choire Leachavie path. New hydro at base, but good track path up. Snow on head of Corrie so struck up before. Headed onto Carn Eighe and Beinn FhionnlaidhN.Morters30/04/2017
Climbed solo. Walked from Glen Affric hostel down valley to Coire Ghaidheil bridge (where I had left my bike previous day). Climbed up stalkers path to Bealach Coire Ghaidheil and thence continued on sloping/traversing path to the north-east. This eventually peters out in a steep rocky area to the SW of Mam Sodhail, where I continued the traverse (rough going!) to reach the bealach south of Carn Eighe. Ascended Carn Eighe. Originally intended to continue north to Beinn Fhionnlaidh, but time was short, so I returned south to bealach, thence southwards over Mam Sodhail and Ciste Dhubh (fine cairn) before heading west to meet the ascent path. Retraced my ascent back down to Glen Affric, cycling the last 2 miles to the hostel. Weather dry but mist over 1000m stubborn to clear until very late in the day. Excellent views east from Carn Eighe and saw a brocken spectre on Mam Sodhail. These are giant, remote mountains - very friendly in benign weather, but could be horrible in bad conditions! jamessteel10021/08/2016
Day 1 of Mullardoch backpack.mikejacobs30/07/2016
Ascent Anti-clockwise round. Park, walk west, head up path to north just before Lodge, skirt trees, climb to valley, cross valley and river. Steep scramble to Tom a'Choinich then fantastic ridge walk west eventually to Carn Eige and beyond to Mam Sodhail. stunning views to Cuillins and in all other directions. South East to path above Loch Affric and back to car park. 16.5 miles, 9H 40M.callumorr21/07/2016

Revisiting a few Tops for Carn Eige trig and a wanted Sim. Tricky crossing of large steep patch of late snow then good path back to roadhead car park. Gave a young French lad a lift out, oil tech at AberdeenRHW20/06/2015
Horrible wet day. Low clouds and our plans for 3 munro dwindled to 2. Still lots of snow near the coll specifically on the track. Once on the ridge we got blasted by cold wind. So 2 hills dwindled to just the 1. With Peter Dawestallblond13/06/2015
A long day out from Glen Affric taking in the three Carn Eige Munros plus the east ridge of Carn Eige. Accompanied intermittently by Alan and Charles.chriswatson15/07/2014
Chris Watsons final few Munros trip with Alan dawson. second time for me. From Glen Affric, up the stalkers tarck between AnTudair and Sgurr na Lapaich. Alan and Chris going on ahead as I plod slowly upward, Alan with agenda of a number of high end GPS surveys data from various summits and cols. Notice the land the other side of the little indentation to the SE of the big round cairn looks marginally higher. Find a mimi cairn there and learn later that Alan had built it and that is 30-40cm higher than the cain base. Continue on to Carn Eighe and return back over Mam Sodhail because Chris was intending to go that way despite wanting to head out on the eastern Murdos ridge.vegibagger15/07/2014

1st munro of the day after longish walk around the west end of Loch Affric and up into the huge Coire Leachavie. Odd stone constructions on top left by surveyors. Summit one square tower with no obvious way in. Weather good. With Maggie and Reeds x 3.dave neilson31/05/2014

And all its tops, including the deleted tops, from Glen Affric SYHA so a long day, much of it in cloud. Missed bealach on way back so finished up bivying the night!. Note the Glen Affric SYHA has a winter room - always open even when the hostel is closed - complete with bunks and electric lighting though they seem to have started removing most of the mattresses from the bunks so go prepared. Toilet usually working though sometimes water has been turned off so manual flushing may ne necessarydickscroop29/03/2012
