Round of Broom Hill, Creag Bhalg, Cluain Circle and Creag Mhor from Milton. | Topographer57 | 30/01/2024 |
Easy on grassy tracks from the duck pond on the S side of the hill. Several butts means that the ducks on the pond are in fact sitting...er.....ducks... | maknipe | 16/10/2022 |
Gorgeous lockdown walk from the carpark besides the cricket ground. Over the golf course, through Laggan Woods to Craig More then - popping out onto bracken-riven fields at 783234. A grass track leads almost to the summit of Cluain Circle itself, which is a lovely top with spectacular views in all directions. From the rock strewn summit it's an equally pleasant walk NW to the forest, then between forest and lochan to Creag Bhalg. Sheep tracks lead down to Balmuick, where another grass track can be joined, leading back to the woods, golf course etc. | summitter | 10/05/2020 |
Parked and ascended from Fordie by a pleasant route, first on a track through woods and then a grassy path through autumn bracken. Easy final ascent with a fine view. Moved on to Creag Bhalg. | JohnW | 19/10/2019 |
Creag bhalg and cluain circle from shaky bridge. | robertphillips | 19/05/2019 |
After Creag Bhalg, with track and wooden log bridge over the bogs in the dip. Why does the map fail to show the little lochan? Most of the circle recumbent. | Colin Crawford | 03/01/2019 |
From Balmuick. | chalky1953 | 13/11/2017 |
After Creag Bhalg, dodging the worst of the bracken. To the North of the little loch, then up the west ridge to the top with a few notable large stones. Descended to Balmuick, then Shaky Bridge where my car was parked. | NormanW | 09/09/2017 |
