From Kinlochard to Tom Dubh nan Caorach from the track to the North, guided by the sight and sound of the derelict, metal-plated lookout tower. I followed the track west to its end, then made the best of overgrown and water logged firebreaks en route to Stob a'Bhlair Bhain. Several firebreaks blocked by fallen stands of trees. Tough going for a short walk. | Nick Down1 | 20/12/2020 |
8 tump bike round from parking in fc cp near renagour 7/8 from track end to the south, firebreaks to within 50m west of the top, up through young trees to the top which is clear. | robertphillips | 04/11/2018 |
From end of track to the S. | chalky1953 | 09/11/2017 |
rough fire break from the end of track at NN432020; not helped by saturated ground. plantation surrounding tree-free summit now above head height. | ajwxyzt | 18/03/2017 |
I linked this one with Tom Dubh nan Caorach, using forest track and still intact firebreaks, surviving replanting. The summit area has been recently replanted and is a bit of a thrash. It will get worse. The actual high point is just clear of the trees | Colin Crawford | 29/03/2016 |
