From end of Glen Affric Road. A round of Coire Coulavie. With B and R.jenx12/09/2022
With Jenx and Bryher walking in from Affric road head. Passed the lodge, onto only bridge over burn then old faint stalkers up to ridge and Creag Coire nan Each. Through heavy squalls and gusty winds that section. On round headwall, and two XMT before heading out to An Tudhair. Steep exciting descent to stalkers path and out.nordicstar12/09/2022

Solo. From car park at road end in Glen Affric. Walked on the path on the north side of Loch Affric. This is a nice path with good views. There was some rain, but not heavy - a relief after weeks of rain. After I crossed Allt Coire Leachavie, I followed the path that rises up underneath An Tudair Beag - not always easy to follow. The path stops at a little col. I went down the other side to get some shelter. Continued down to cross Allt Coulavie, the descent being very small, and ascended the easy angled rib coming down from Creag a' Chaorainn. Reached the minor eminence of Creag a' Chaorainn. By now the rain had stopped. Reached the summit of Creag Coire nan Each. Continued over various tops to Màm Sodhail and Beinn Fhionnlaidh.pwbellarby28/06/2007

A huge 15 hour mountain day -the best - solo ,sweeping up a good number of tops -in running shoes - jogging (carefully) along the high ridges - magical - not a place to have a mishap alone. Magical. Had mountain biked in from east to start 3 km short of YH.Chris Pearson10/08/2002

Escaping a gale. We walked to Loch Coulavie, relatively sheltered, via Sputan Ban, a good track into lower Coire Leachavie, which joined the track in Glen Affric back to Alltbeithe.pwheeler25/05/1999

With Jonathan Bellarby. After ascending Tom a’ Chòinich and Carn Eighe. We skirted to the west of the summit of Mam Sodhail (which we had been up the day before) to reach Ciste Dubh, Stob Coire Coulavie, and Creag Coire nan Each. The summit of the latter is at the north end of the summit plateau according to Munro’s Tables (1980) and not at the cairn as in the 1974 edition. Went to both. We made a very wet and steep descent to Loch Coulavie. Much snow on N facing slopes with many cornices.pwbellarby18/04/1982
