| My penultimate tump on a tough day's Kayaking from Luss, visiting Inchlonaig's two tops before cap-sizing en-route to Inchfad. I reached land on Inchruin then after walking around for a while to get warm I headed over to Inchmoan and then Inchconnachan, taking the short and smooth crossing across to land next to a yacht. I headed up through the trees to the summit, marking this as 88m @ NS 36670 91607. Its a wonder my GPS was still working after the dunking in Loch Lomond so i didnt expect the readings to be particularly accurate. Everywhere looked so vivid, I imagine it was the adrenalin from my near-fatal experience. Tricky rough descent, stumbling over cut rhododendron branches. One can see the effort required to tame this vegetation is substantial!I headed over to the South top by crossing near the fenceline at the centre of the Island then up to the top. | Dazingdale | 04/10/2017 |
