A more pleasant experience than my last trip to Firhill.lordtonult16/11/2022
Parked just up the holiday park road round by the lodges then faint paths to top.NormanW22/12/2021
Bluebells, birdsong, lovely woodland. A hill to spend some time on.bjewing23/05/2021
A slight detour from the start of the normal route in these days of social distancing: through the wood opposite the junction of the Gartmore Road and the A81, joining the woodland walk west of the chalets, then through bluebells to the top.Nick Down101/05/2020
A good easy track up to the left of the first chalets.sclater29/01/2020
From the lodge car park. Nice woodland. Good view to Ben Lomond.hillsman02/02/2018
as others parked in lodge up through woods.robertphillips15/12/2017
Drove into lodge / caravan park. Past barn on L to 1st chalet. Turn left and there's a small parking area on left at start of dog walking area. Follow paths to woodland trail, which leads almost to the summit.Minto15/07/2017
Should really be renamed Bluebell Brae. Pleasant stroll using path up E side of lodges to S.Thearlaichdubh12/05/2017

From park to S. Found path near the top which is at the W end of the hill.chrisbien09/04/2016
Made the mistake of climbing from a layby to the east to avoid the lodge park. Don't!! Woodland walk in the lodge park leads to the top.citygent23/10/2014
And out of the window of Gartmore House this little wooded hill beckoned to me. Got up region 1 on my phone and amazed to find it not listed! Ha! It must be on the far west of region 26. Sure enough it is but amazed to find that I'm first logger. Delightful 15 minute hike up from the car park of the lodge park to the south, 15 mins up through mixed mainly beech and oak woodlandvegibagger18/10/2014
