parked on verge minor road/A81 along track through gate to the top.robertphillips15/12/2017
Easy parking at road junction opposite start of track to Shannochill. (Un welcoming notice). Turned left onto track though trees marked on 1:25K map. Neatly mown grass should have been a warning - at end of track there's a caravan and a chalet being constructed. Fortunately no one around. So over fence, turn R alongside deer fence, clearly in view of Shannochill House for a time. Followed fence to summit ridge which is very pleasant. Came back round NE and NW sides of enclosure to avoid holiday homes and house, almost to Windygates, then S to rejoin track. Better in winter. And when dry.Minto15/07/2017
