Very pleasant shoreline walk from Sallochy Bay along WHW and track, which gradually drowns itself in a birch swamp. Through the birches to a surprisingly steep summit knoll with a view over the loch from a horizontal rock. Back along the track and L on the WHW before another brief diversion through heather and young trees to Teac a'Mhinisteir. | Nick Down1 | 28/01/2023 |
Beinn Uird circuit from Rowardennen.

Cycled to high point of track from Sallochy car park via WHW. Then walked easily enough up through trees to pleasant summit. | Minto | 16/12/2021 |
From Sallachy bay CP along WHW then track. Okay in winter but may be more challenging in summer due to the vegetation. | bjewing | 28/02/2021 |
From Sallochy CP. Found a reasonable path up through the birchwoods from the beach below it. | sclater | 02/01/2021 |
From end of metalled path to S and up through fairly horrible vegetation even in March. No sign of coronavirus. Next Teac a Mhinster via metalled path. | Thearlaichdubh | 17/03/2020 |

From forest car park with Rick and Jen, after Chris Watson's Ben Lomond munros compleation. Good track then path, then straight up when birch scrub relents. Nice rocky summit. | RHW | 19/10/2014 |
