As previously mentioned, well defended by mature conifers. No visible indication of entry to clearing. Attacked by travelling approximately SE on logging track from North end of Loch Glassie. Entry point identified by OS Maps app with Satellite images switched on. Possible to exit clearing to SSW, but not as easy as entry. | swinging | 02/01/2022 |
Parked just up the Edradynate road where there is good space at new mini hydro development. An easy 150m route through the trees at 86134 52246 reaches the summit. | NormanW | 12/01/2021 |
Up from dull, dullhill SE top, dull hill, weem hill, cnoc rawer, creag loisgte, an guirean, cluny hill, down tracks to near glassie bunkhouse to get bike for cycle back to dull for the car. | robertphillips | 17/11/2019 |
Here for the trigpoint, TP:UK log: Drove up Edradynate Road past the private signs and found a wee parking spot. We fully intended to ask at the shooting lodge for permission to park but no one was home. Followed track until it ran out and we were faced with 200m of thick conifers (not so young now).......battled through to the clearing which was tough but doable, to be amazed the clearing was so big! On the way back found a much easier route. Follow track until NN 86142 52257 then head towards the trigpoint, it will open out believe us just trust your bearing. | thejackrustles | 26/05/2016 |
Drove up Glassie bunkhouse track to NN860510 then followed track SW of hill and into trees from south alongside deer fence. Got very near top but failed to find any way through trees from west or north, eventually tunnelled in from track to north-east. Trig is in large clearing but well-defended on all sides. Saw firebreak leading west from summit but did not find it from below. | alda | 06/07/2015 |
