Spent the weekend at the Ochils Mountaineering Club cottage in Crianlarich. Saturday 28/08/21, I headed round to Loch Creran to bag the Munro of Beinn Sgulaird (937m). There was thick mist at sea level, but I was above this at around 200m. The mist lifted a bit during the day, but it still blocked any views of the sea, with Ben More on Mull, sticking above the mist. 06:50hrs all in.chillyman828/08/2021

From Druimavuic, past rhododendrons blooming in the gardens bordering the track, turning onto the S ridge of Beinn Sgulaird at the cairn, detouring from the path to Druim a'Vuic, over BS South Top, Meall Garbh , BS and BS North Top. Superb views over lochs Creran and Etive and into the Central Highlands from the North Top. On return, I cut down after Meall Garbh to pick up the start of the track leading to Druimavuic. This took a fair amount of weaving around to avoid crags and steep grass, so keeping to the path on the return is probably preferable.Nick Down115/05/2021

Climbed with MT, with parking at the bottom of the track. Our intention had been to climb Beinn Sgulaird but conditions became too unpleasant and we turned back at this top. Note that the path bypasses the summit.Sprog04/06/2015
Failed attempt on Beinn Sgulaird. Parked in muddy lay-by on minor road east of Druimavuic at NN 00904 45106. Then took track steeply up through felled forest, diverting onto the ridge path at a spot marked by a cairn. Followed the path NE onto the plateau, diverting off the path to reach the summit cairn on Druim a'Vuic. We decided to abandon our attempt on the Munro due to dire and worsening weather. Descended steeply to bealach to the north-east, then steeply south down corrie to the track in the glen, and thence back to car. With AT.Man of Kernow104/06/2015
