From SE, Cuil road end, as per Campbell. Nice gentle evening walk to round off a fine day.RHW22/05/2023
With Lesley. From Cuil, followed the coast past three beaches to the far point, up and over the hill passing behind the lochan to join a farm track back to start. Superb views, did this walk instead of the nearby Marilyn and suspect it was far more interesting.Nick Canute23/04/2023
From village hall opposite Lagnaha Farm, followed cycle route SW to Duror, then road to Cuil Bay and around coast line to Back Hill. Crossed valley to SE and handrailed fence line to Ardsheal Hill. Descent to village hall on mast service track. Blustery showers all afternoon.richard6925/05/2022
From the beach at Cuil. Good parking. Round coast path before heading for west side of Loch. Then onto ridge. Great views of Ardgour.Campbell Singer08/05/2022
Parked at bend on Cuil road and followed very wet coastal track to outflow and then up the hillside. Wet but not too muddy and great views down Firth of Lorne.Thearlaichdubh19/03/2020
Bus to Cuil road end in Duror. Large numbers of geese in Cuil Bay and adjacent fields. Along road, then increasingly wet and messy tracks beside the bay and up track on to ridge north-east of Rubha Mòr. Up ridge to summit over very wet and churned-up ground with occasional vestiges of paths. Hill topped with cap of thick bracken. Dry and largely sunny, but very hazy, otherwise would have been a superb viewpoint. Luxury yacht passed, heading down Loch Linnhe. Down south-south-westwards towards lochan and along above its north-western shore to building at end, then across more wet ground to reach outward route. Into Duror to catch bus for Oban.mainnirnamfiadh02/10/2019
From Cuil Bay via the small lochan. Wonderful view but the approach has been churned up badly by earlier visitors of a bovine nature.Colin Crawford13/02/2019
Round coast from end of unclassified road to south.Swindon Bagger06/03/2017
Track from Cuil along shore then NW to former fields S of the lochan then fairly direct line to summit which commands a very fine view. Return by ridge to Rubha Mor.chalky195329/01/2013
