From Guay, where I parked on the verge before the no parking signs on the approach to the sharp bend. A very pleasant walk to the cockscomb summit and trig on Deuchary Hill on good tracks, especially the green path that climbs gently to Lochan na Beinne. Then a circuit via the grass rib of the South Top and through heather and bracken, ascending steeply at one point, to an undulating heathery ridge leading to the West Top and some more heather before rejoining the grassy path.Nick Down105/02/2023
After trig and main summit. Openish forest with a few game trails between tussockscjo09/04/2022

Hill 3 of 6 in a 2 car facilitated linear walk from Baledmund to Loch of Craiglush. Best (only?) parking is to the north at 003 516. Do not try the track to Easter Achnaguie and Tullielarach, there is no connection to the track from Baledmund. From the track from N to Lochan na Beinne. Serious cross country to the summit. Descended SE by stream, onwards to Conlon HillMinto05/12/2021
3rd of 4 Tumps after Creag Luath. Path to Lochan na Beinne then rough and steep to top. On to Conlan Hill.NormanW05/12/2021
As per Lindsay, then back into the undulation and headed south west onto path that takes you onto the main track for a very short time before heading up the Deuchary Hill path which leaves at an angle from the track through the trees. Followed this past the trig and then on down to Loch Ordie before heading back. 12km 3.5hrsNicky C10/01/2021

From A923 car park at NE End of Loch of Craiglush, up lovely track to Mill Dam and along east shore to highest point on the track to Loch Oldie. Animal tracks through heather and woodland eventually get you to the summit. A quite glorious location.summitter31/03/2019
Cycled from Dunkeld Cally CP to Mill Dam then round of Deuchary W, Conlan, Craig More and Kil Craigs. Rough track leads NW from bend in path to Butterstone but the last part was very steep over rough ground with long haether and young pines.Topographer5709/02/2018
Solo. From car park at NO022437 to the north of Dunkeld. After ascending Crieff Hill returned almost to car park before following tracks through or near forest past Upper Hatton and Mill Dam. At sharp bend in track at NO036479 pleased to find a track going NW, not shown on OS 1:25,000 map. Followed this track, becoming a path, before leaving it and following deer tracks where possible through thick heather to the summit of Deuchary Hill West Top. Continued to Deuchary Hill itself. Nice dry and sunny weather.pwbellarby20/08/2017
With Janet & Rod. Parked at corner NE of Guay (NO006495) & followed path & tracks to NW tip of Lochan na Beinne. Animal tracks helped progress round north side of initial undulation then short, steep final ascent. Searched for Alda's camera (see previous post) & Rod found it to SE of summit.Lindsay M06/04/2015
