Round of Hill N of Glen Prosen from good packing in quarry near Buckhood. Fairly direct climb to The Goal, then along ridge to Craigs of Lethnot, Hill of Couternach, Coremachy, Cairn of Barns and Hill of Strone. Return along ridge, bypassing summits of Cairn of Barns and Coremachy, and climbed Knachly and Hill of Spott on return. Cold on the higher tops, but good views to Lochnagar and stayed dry.RobertP02/08/2023

A delightful clockwise round of three tumps, Hill of Spott, Knachly and The Goal and a Hump, Hill of Couternach from great parking in the old quarry just west of Buckhood cottage, much better than the verge near the bridge. Mainly good paths and tracks.Minto18/12/2021

An anti-clockwise circuit of Glen Cally from the Cotgibbon Plantation. Stone tracks or ATV tracks all the way made this a quick walk, taking in The Goal (great name!), Craigs of Lethnot, Hill of Couternach, Hill of Balbae and Cairn Leith before heading onto the western slopes of Knachly and Hill of Spot then back to the road and car. 3.40hrs in all.summitter28/12/2019
