Solo. A warm sunny day. Including the outlying Tops made for a bigger day. I had planned to tackle A'Ghlas-bheinn, but there is a big drop between the Munros and when I got to path beneath the bhealach it was clear there was not enough time or energy in the tank so I returned to the hotel.langskill09/04/2011

With Shaky camped in Glen Affric testing an old tent my brother had given me. Early when we pitched, so was drawn to the terrific NE ridge direct to the summit of Beinn Fhada. Highly recommended. Then went E over the lumps & bumps to Sgurr a'Dubh Doire, descended to pt 825 & then more steeply NW to the tent. Brilliant. What wasn't so good was the tent leaking in the rain that night...NotReallyABagger25/08/2005

Alone. From Innis a’ Chròtha. Over Faradh Nighean Fhearchair, Sgurr a’ Choire Ghairbh (interesting scramble on SE side), and Meall an Fhuarain Mhor to Beinn Fhada. Went on to Sgurr a’ Dubh Doire. I descended via Corie an t-Siosalaich and past Loch a’ Bhealaich. Just short of the top of Bealach na Sgairne went up the path to the north and then over many bumps to A’ Ghlas-bheinn. I descended the west ridge and had a bivvy halfway down. Much mist on the tops. The next day I descended to Innis a’ Chròtha.pwbellarby12/10/1985
