Easy walk up track from the east. Waypoint at side of track. Spot height on 25k is about 80m in dense conifers. Terrain very flat and spot height unlikely to be noticeably higher so didn’t bother trying…govanah01/12/2022

Weather fair. Pretty much impossible to reach the actual summit without a chainsaw but close enough for a bag.MountainMac22/03/2021

On a 12km loop walk with L on forest tracks through the Forest of Fetteresso, planned to keep low level and in the trees to shelter form the gale force westerlies of Storm Dennis. Amazingly, despite a driving snow shower when walking the dog earlier in the day, the morning was now following the forecast of sunshine. Meanwhile driving rain and storm winds battering rest of UK with many flood warnings, as there is for Stonehaven down the road tonight when high tide and storm waves are expected to overtop the sea wall. Our route coincided with the Fetterresco Forest Marathon - good chat with organiser Chris, who was astonished to see anybody else walking in these forests. Cheered on many runners toiling up the track here at mile 16 and into wind, including Fiona -chance encounter known from Op Raleigh days in 1995!Chris Pearson16/02/2020
Difficult to ascertain the highest point as the trees are so close together. Thought it may have been on a narrow MTB trail.hill walker27/10/2018
From car park to the east along broad forest tracks until close to the summit. Summit difficult to locate and reach.pwbellarby20/10/2015
