Excellent day out with great views all around, a wee bit wind near the peaks but cracking day out!Kevthecat04/05/2023
With Richard and Gillian Walker from Bheinn Fhada. Good path north up ridge in snow squall. Descended NW down long featureless grassy slope in snow showers aiming for bridge, a route which avoids any forest. Primrose, wood anemone, feral goats and deer. Joined main track (good) just below bridge and then easily SW back to Morvich, crossing small hidden (mapped) foot bridge at NG981223. Long day.Denise 23/04/2023
Parked at the NTS Morvich car park. Good path up the valley into Coire an Sgairne and up onto the Beinn Fhada plateau. Went to the western end at Meall an Fhuarain Mhoir and main top before returning to the valley and climbing to Bealach an Sgairne. Good path again up A' Ghlas bheinn, including its South top. Descended via the west ridge, turning WNW to reach the bridge where the Falls of Glomach path enters the wood and then SW through woods and footbridge back. Mainly in cloud with some snow flurries. Views on Fhada for lunch. With Gillian and Denise.richard6923/04/2023
Run from Morvich, up to bealach na Sgairde, then onto summit. Back down the west ridge and like many others, into the forestry. Not too bad, soon back on the path.Matt290101/04/2023
From Morvich - via Bealach an Sgairne. Some snow after Bealach but very depleted cover. Clear skies and no wind - silly warm for Feb. But treated to spectacular views in all directions.wychwood26/02/2023

Solo - anti-clockwise and including a trip out to the Falls of Glomach. Good paths for most of it but the soggy descent off the munro down to the path to the falls was a bit slippery over steep/rough wet terrain. Weather was mostly drizzly with clag - very cold wind at the summit - but the sun came out and the clouds cleared with 3miles remaining back out to the car.mproudfoot26/11/2020
With Carnan Cruithneachd. Up along diffuse ridge from bealach with Glomach path. Carried on down bagger’s track. Sun came out and wind died on descent – warm, glorious evening. Rounsfell02/10/2020

Solo, running, fr Morvich campsite, whither I'd moved after 2 nts in good Evanton hotel during v windy weather, driving round Black Isle & to Plockton. Ascended steep W ridge from where the track (to Falls of Glomach) leaves the trees. Cool and still overcast but forecast to clear...summit in thin mist...NorfolkPT2117/07/2017

Great little hill lots of false summits and a great view. The west ridge was fine but I ended up on the wrong part had to climb a deer fence and head through the forest, nearly fell down a ravine before climbing another deer fence and crossing the river to pick up the track.isabelle07/08/2014

With Yeltzbagger and ketzster. Tried to come back down the west ridge and through the forest instead of going back down to Bealach an Sgairne. Big mistake.Stevie n Tay28/05/2014
With ketzster and Stevie n Tay. Came down the west ridge rather taking Stevie n Tay back down via Bealach a Sroine which she found steep. big mistake as we had to do battle with the forest undergrowth.Yeltzbagger28/05/2014
1st of 1. Solo. Taking care of unfinished business. Wandered up eventually reaching snowline, good ascent path but freezing cold and a fair wind picking up. Crampons on at the belach before picking a route up. Descended off the W ridge and had issues getting over the deer fence then dense forest. 17.1km, 1300m, 7hr05.bowzi12/01/2014
