Followed Dave McG's route from the south. Uneventful summit. Didn't even spot or hear a capercaillie. Met a nice chap later at Cromdale Church who told us all about the history of the nearby motte. With Nozzer. | BigJ | 27/07/2022 |
Walked up road from S then through trees to top | 187lenny | 28/06/2020 |
Up for a GR10 this time | Dave McG | 15/05/2020 |
Also visited the motte to the north this time, the wee cairn seems to have a few more stones than last visit. From home on bike. | Dave McG | 09/04/2020 |

Approached from south, took more easterly of two tracks heading towards the top and followed to its end. An old stone dyke is then followed to the crest of the broad ridge then short section through trees to the top. | Dave McG | 24/01/2018 |
