Park NH 8209 4749 - down track. Follow mapped tracks to NH 82786 47482 where good path wends to summit - nettles in summer. Good path through blackthorn from SW - will need regular pruningcarole engel20/05/2022
Via forest tracks from west, and minor path from south at the end. Took clippers but someone else had done clearance recently before me.willyross19/04/2021

Trig still just visible amongst the closely growing bushes.hill walker09/09/2018
Took tracks in from Newlands of Budgate, but found the top disappointing as covered with a tough thicket. There is a narrow way to the trig point from the south.JohnW16/04/2016
Here for the trigpoint 'Cawdor' and a geocaching event. TP:UK log: Thanks to Aqueously90 who prepared the route for us on what sounds like a number of occasions, path takes you to within 50m and then it's a tricky ascent up mossy rocks and a slippy slope to find the wee cleared path to the trig amongst the very spiky bushes. As previously mentioned spider is missing. Great views and well worth the effort, grab it now whilst the path is still there!thejackrustles23/11/2014
visited whilst bagging the trig had to do a lot of pruning to get to trigNozzer09/03/2014
