3 summits, the W summit higher, by c3m estimated by hand level. On Minto's inflatable, shuttle service during the morning of RHSoc AGM. Good parking almost due N at cattle grid, then down to shore from E side of grid. He launched from Arnisdale. May be possible to get a kayak down directly from road but likely challenging.RHW27/05/2023
Bagged before Rob Woodall with Adrian via Minto's boat. Beautiful bluebells & wild garlic on island. Had a walk around the 3 tops to take in the views. Thanks JWu.Dugswell227/05/2023
A shuttle service operated by Minto saw numerous visits today. Bluebells and wild garlic on approac path. Saw mallard nesting on eastern top with a large clutch of eggs.cjo27/05/2023
Minto boat tours took about a dozen RHSoc members across the 200m gap. Launched from Arnisdale in marginal conditions for a very bumpy passage to the island.Minto27/05/2023
A birthday treat thanks to Jonathan Woods and his dinghy and outboard. Wild Ramson. Parking by cattle grid but would be a challenge to drag a kayak down- better to launch from Arnisdale.Denise 27/05/2023
Kindly ferried over by Jonathan. Bryher loved the boat!jenx27/05/2023
Kayak from Arnisdale. Rough, ungrazed island; heather, bramble, bracken, not overly bad though. Visited both 30m contour rings; GPS gave 31m elevation for E end, and 35m for the W end. The Wend looked higher from both HPs.jonglew06/05/2019
