Bac an Eich from car park at end of public road at Loch Beannacharain, with John. Did clockwise circuit back along road to Inverchoran then followed track through Glenn Chorainn. At Torran Ceann Liath, headed N then E then N to Bac an Eich summit. Head WSW down to Drochaid Coire Mhadaidh and then followed the path around to Corrievuic and then the road back to the car. Blue skies, and snow above 400m - deep in places, but it made for stunning mountain views in all directions. Total time 5h 54min.mproudfoot24/02/2024
From Inverchoran with D, Dave. SW up Gleann Chorainn to the col on a good path and then an intermittent track up the south slope. Mist and some drizzle that cleared periodically. 6 hours.bolton18/02/2024
Parked on grass verge by the bridge at Inverchoran. Good path along Gleann Chorainn all the way to the south ridge. The path eventually fades then grassy slopes to the summit. Back same way. With bolton.Dangerous Dave18/02/2024

With John on our 9th anniversary from Braigh an Leitre in Strathconon. A great day. Sunshine and a few showers. Lovely stalkers path. Saw a few deer, and heard stags bellowing! Stunning views to Strathfarrar Munros and more widely. Veryhappybunny28/09/2021
From Loch Beannacharain. Track and bridge to Corriefeol. Hints of a path up the north side of Allt Coire Dhugaill, crossing above the ravine, about 520m asl. Steeply WSW to join the NW ridge, easy going from there. Descended steeply north to the small lochan, then NW to Coire Dhugaill, but plenty of peat hags this way. Then retraced steps. Sunny, light wind, a bit hazy. 900th Marilyn.Owen B23/09/2021

Solo fr Inverchoran, running X steep climb. Heather, bogs, peat groughs all horrible! Steady warm sunshine but a slight haze. Good views from top, a few flies. Ascent over Sgurr Toll Lochain; descent S then SE to pick up path all the way down Gleann Chorainn, which was hot.NorfolkPT2109/08/2020
