Parking at Misgeach Power Station (NH183380), after a drive over two narrow dam structures (unsuitable for anything bigger than cars). No bridge over Allt Coire na Feithe, in spate, 2hrs W in driving rain to Clach an Daimh. Up Meallan Buidhe nan Fheadain, easy on to Meallan Buidhe. Drop and re-ascent to Meallan Odhar then easy up to Meallan Odhar Doire nan Gillean. Stalker’s path down E ridge has rewilded in lower section. Crossed Allt Coire na Feithe again, then ascending TR L up steep grass, easing off then level to furthest top of Beinn Dubh an Iaruinn. Back same way (devil-u-know), found ATV tk, but no time to investigate (veered away NW). Intermittent An Tx beside true L bank of Allt Coire na Feithe saved crossing it twice more. Slip-slided around all day, lots of non-stick Teflon white lichen | Isbjorn | 15/10/2023 |
On the way back from An Cruachan. Diverted off the path at 147371. Straightforward grassy ascent. Excellent views. Delightful descent down the east ridge with glorious end on views of Glen Strathfarrar. Picked up the slightly better than nothing stalkers path to the glen, then a quick march along the track to the car parked at the power station assaulted by horse flies as the wind had dropped during the day. | Owen B | 22/06/2023 |

From the power station. The really old stalkers path is well worth finding. | iangalbraith | 11/04/2022 |

P near power station. Initial approach by track then old stalkers path & then pathless. Meallan Odhar Doire nan Gillean, Meallan Odhar, Beinn Dubh, Beinn Dubh SE top, pt 688 & Beinn Dubh an Iaruinn. A fine hill circuit in a superb setting. With Bolton. | ger | 16/07/2021 |
Parked at Power station at 182382 after a brief clash on the road with some odd ball campervan female. As the lady on the gate says 'we get all types up here'. Easy walk up the stalkers path to the summit with Ger. | bolton | 16/07/2021 |

From the road end by the hydro station it was an easy walk with a variety of tracks to make use of. The summit offered great views on a spectacularly clear day, however in my opinion the 570m point Meallan Odhar overlooking Loch Monar was superior. | Peterb | 31/05/2021 |

From power station, then on to Beinn Dubh an Iaruinn. Very windy, arduous walking. | NormanW | 11/05/2018 |
From upper Power station, easy ridge to flat summit area. Then onto Beinn Dubh an Iaruinn. Low cloud. 1/4 | N.Morters | 04/05/2018 |
Up the stalkers path, needs more traffic, then slithered down the hill to continue to BDAI, in a gale and somewhat damp. | Gill | 28/10/2017 |

From power station with Jenx on a right dreich day, unlike other logs! Worst Marilyn so far of 2016; low cloud, headwind and wetting drizzle. Ground everywhere waterlogged. Followed track, then path before finding the old stalkers path up to 500m which was the only bright spot! Rebuilt cairn on boulder, which in my opinion isn't the top (It'll roll away one day), that is 10m to NW. Carried on through the murk to lower tops, col and the second Marilyn. | nordicstar | 21/03/2016 |
I liked the old stalkers path. Well built and good gradient. Weather could have even better. | jenx | 21/03/2016 |

Drove to power station at 183381 per access agreement with MCofS. Short distance along track then ascended intermittent path up east ridge. Back down path towards Beinn Dubh. | Topographer57 | 14/08/2015 |

With Dave Roeder. Parked at 223392 (9:45) & took path NE up glen, then E ridge to Beinn na Muice. Fine rocky peak. Wonderful blue day, long views all round. Descended W ridge to Monar Lodge. Crossed both dams (imposing water-fan on 1st), & cont to B Dubh an Iaruinn, following grassy ridge up from southern dam over lump to summit. Then cont E via the col to Meall Odhar.Doire nan Gillean, traversing both tops. Then back down to path, road & car (18:00). Wonderful sunny clear day, but sadly no time to do sm Marilyn by dam. | dbb | 14/05/2015 |

The 3 Marilyns at the head of beautiful Strathfarrar. Parked at first dam, didn't realise you can drive up to power station. Loichel, Iaruinn then this one. | AndrewFinnimore | 27/04/2014 |
