| Asked permission to drive up from farmer at NC 775101 - could not confirm or deny but said if I took it steady the car would be ok, plus walkers were welcome! So I drove up to track junction at NC 767121 where plenty room to park. Track SW and up wide break at NC 7598 1216. Horrible spongy tussocks all the way. Summit area mainly widely spaced deciduous planting (planted 2000), so no problem now or in the future with access. Way back on atv from NC 75414 11593 SE but had to leave this for a wide break with deer trod from NC 75798 11581. Drove back down track (no passing places) - met vehicle (also on way up) but friendly driver/s pulled over for me. | carole engel | 13/06/2022 |
