From Reay village, loop of Ceann Mor, Sean Airigh and Beinn Ruadh. Track out of Reay and past the small cave on the OS map, then mostly bog. Great views. | Tisteln | 13/02/2024 |
'Mad Friday' and the others are off to the Christmas party surfing Nicola's 'tsunami of Omicron'.
I'm up here on the graceful slopes of Beinn Ruadh enjoying the fine views of the north coast and a gorgeous winter sunset. | David Bremner | 17/12/2021 |
Carried Seumas to the top and back down. Nice afternoon stroll. Parked at the layby inbetween the Caithness and Sutherland county signs to the north of the hill. As you look southwards there is a cairn on the horizon - I wandered up the vague tractor tracks (where they existed) to the cairn then followed the deer fence along to the left then as it turned southward took a direct line up to the summit without needing to cross the deer fence. Non-survey grade GPS co-ordinates = NC 92680 63147. Descended by same route. Wore wellies. BBRW. | assynt_bob | 03/11/2015 |
