Circular walk from Arkle Cottage (Lairg)Geoff Briggs23/11/2023
Small free Gunn forest carpark to NW. mapped path ( dotted line) through woods to highpoint then thrash through thick moss, heather and ripe bilberries to unmarked summit in open woods.Denise 25/07/2022
From NW, forest track then mapped loop trail with short easy diversion to summit in open pinewood. Lower down a HS woodpecker drumming on metal electricity pole makes a fine sound!RHW26/03/2022
Very pleasant now.jimbloomer04/05/2021
As per Thearlaichdubh. Small car park at start of track to W. Follow track round first bend before turning off onto lesser side track/path on left. This provides a very pleasant approach and passes close to summit on W side. Trees well-spaced and short detour over lumpy ground takes you there.Lindsay M31/10/2020
Park to W. The key is to branch left up the small track which gradually diverges from the main road, rather than the bulldozed forestry trackThearlaichdubh18/05/2017
Not nice, felling in operation and some horrid muddy tracks to negotiate. Summit obvious enoughColin Crawford09/12/2015
