Because it was there. And then the long walk back to the car and then Gerry`s hostel. A satisfying day.colazione31/08/2023

From Sgurr Ruadh - descent across open country to the lochan then short re-ascent to summit cairn. Had I realised I would have ben including all 4 CT's in route, I probably would have taken route up below Creag Shoirr Raidh. On to Beinn Liath Mhor South Top back over Sgurr Ruadh.mntainman04/09/2021
Easily from bothy to west, stream crossing easy, plenty of options without detouring to bridge straight up to Creag Mainreachan Buttress summit and across tyo Fuar Tholl. Descent north from bealach took me lower than I would have hoped for but could see no other option to get over to Raeburn's Buttress (Ruadh East Top). and easy descent back to stream and bothydickscroop01/09/2021

Arr 0930 from Glasgow. Very snowy but OK walking into Coire Lair while frozen. Clear and sunny until summit then progressively worse with light rain and fast thaw making the going very slow.Capt Malbec18/02/2018

Continuation of walk from the main top of Sgorr Ruadh. Descended the east ridge to a small lochan, then easily north-east up a grassy rake to the summit. To return, mainly followed in reverse my outward route to the main summit of Sgorr Ruadh. Solo.Man of Kernow123/10/2016

Sgorr Ruadh, Fuar Tholl Gang Holiday in Strathcarron. Pete, Carey, Kate, Sandra, Simon, Nick and Andy. Started at Achnashellach Station up the glen. The girls just did the first one and the rest of us also did Fuar Tholl. It was then a race to get back to the car/cottage? I remember almost running down the steep heather hill back to Achnashellach.Victor08/09/1986
