New Year's Day ramble. Ground wet but unsurprising after lots of rain.David Bremner01/01/2024
Small heathery tumulus west of obvious stone cairn. Parked at peat cutting track start to NW, then followed track SW as far as we could. Then thrashed SW over short heather, grass and bog, surprisingly dry. Extensive wild and coastal views on a breezy sunny day.Denise 28/07/2022
From the NE, olsd peat cutters tracks quickly fade into the heather moorland. Large levelish summit plateau with prominent cairn on ENE edge and less prominent high point on WSW edge - old vegetated cairn? Superb all round views.RichardM28/07/2022
I followed the track by the lochs until it ran out in rough, spongy terrain, thereafter a slow struggle to the top. The obvious cairn isn't the high point, which is a grassed over cairn further westColin Crawford25/07/2022
