A visit to Bolingbroke Castle and then 'where is somewhere I can get a nice view...' only subsequently did I realise that Mardon Hill is 'baggable' The trig point is now well and truly embedded in a hedge but the summit itself is right next to the public right-of-way in a, very recently harvested, field of barley. | M3WDD | 17/09/2020 |
1st of 2 Lincs tumps today, this one from East Keal village with Lesley, a leisurely circular incorporating the top, that is more or less on the footpath! Extensive view from the top.
