Unusually strong summer winds - 60 mph in places - combined with Covid breathlessness made this feel like a high altitude climb. Fine hill, though, worth the effort.AndyS10/08/2022
Parked near entrance to Kinloch Lodge for a circuit of 4 fine rocky summits: Carn a' Mhadaidh, Meallan Liath, Creag Riabhach Mhor and Meallan Liath NE Top. Out and back via track and good stalker's path.PGCE06/05/2021

Poor thing destined to neither Marilyn nor Simm. Interesting route finding from NE top.Martin R23/05/2016
Climbed from Kinloch. Track to 270m contour then direct ascent of top (Pt 501). Around ridge on complex terrain to summit. Had an easier descent to head of track at Carn a'Mhadaidh bealach and return along track.Chris Peart25/11/2012
