Beinn na Caillich, Sgurr na Coinnich, Beinn Bheag and Ben Aslak from Kylerhea.rhalstead12/06/2023
From Bealach Udal. Parking just SE of col in large layby. No path. Thick grass heather and slabs. Vanessa trig, cairn and wind shelter on top. Onto Beinn na Caillich. Solo. Glen Elg 4 car ferry is a delightful anachronism.Denise 25/05/2023
Beinn na Caillich and Sgurr na Coinnich a couple of well earned Grahams up from the Skye Bridge side visited in very pleasant walking conditions this afternoon.Alex C25/05/2023
With Beinn na Cailliach before meeting Malky and Jackie at Camastianavaig. Strong wind and very rough underfoot. Both summits clear but only a few minutes of direct sun under racing clouds. Contoured back to car at high point of Kylerhea road to keep out of wind. Rounsfell13/02/2023

Revisit with bolton. From Bealach Udal.Dangerous Dave20/07/2022
Parked at the substantial lay by just east of the summit of the Kylerhea road. There is a faint path much of the way from the high point of the road. Carried on to the second Graham.Owen B25/06/2022

Start and finished at the RSPB carpark/hide. Straight up the non-pathed SE flank of Beinn Bhuide, the terrain getting easier as altitude was gained. Into Bealach nam Mulachag, where rucksacks were jettisoned in favour of an encumbrance free assault on Beinn na Caillich. Steep and scrambley to start with, but eventually rounded out into a fine peak with even finer aspect along Loch's Alsh and Long. A persistent wind forced us quickly back to bags and a bealach bite before the easier ascent of Sgurr na Coinnich. We continued SSW to Bealach Udal, thankfully finding a narrow path on the lower contours as the matted vegetation and regular hidden holes dented knees and footsure confidence. The opposite side of the glen proved similarly challenging, although a reasonable path to Beinn Bheag from the radio mast track helped hugely. The crossing to Ben Aslak offered no such assistance, nor did the steady incline down its broad eastern ridge, until deer tracks were located about a kilometre shy summitter20/03/2022
From the otter haven at Kylerhea - straight up very steep slopes to Beinn Buidhe, then to the bealach, then up through minor crags to summit of Beinn na Caillich, before returning to the bealach and an easier ascent of Sgurr na Coinnich. Descent directly back over Beinn Buidhe. Breezy and overcast but fine viewpoints.benalder28415/01/2022
Bealach Udal - Sgurr na Coinnich - Beinn na Caillich - back over Sgurr na Coinnich contouring south of summit - Bealach Udal - Beinn Aslak - Beinn Bheag - Bealach Udal. An intermittent trod makes the ascent easier than expected.davidpettit8421/10/2021

While at Morvich with the caravan, I headed over the Kylerherra Ferry (£15 single) and parked at the otter hide car park for 12noon. I headed over Beinn Bhuidhe then up Beinn na Caillich and across to Sgurr na Coinnich. I dropped down directly to Beinn Bhuidhe then a steep heathery descent to the car park. During a heatwave so it was insanely hot, wore my midgie net as a sun hat. The blue skies gave great views of the Cullin, Skye Bridge and numerous islands, 05:50hrs all in.chillyman823/07/2021
Solo. From the parking area a little east of the high point of Bealach Udal. Followed something of a path northwards up the lower slopes of Sgùrr na Coinnich, crossing and recrossing a burn. Path starts at start of track to mast but the start is not obvious. On to the lochan and the summit. I was now above the clouds that stretched westwards which gave a magical view of the Cuillin tops poking their heads above the clouds. The view eastwards of the cloud-free mainland peaks was equally impressive. Back same way. By this ascent I have completed all the P600m peaks in UK and IOM. A fantastic day.pwbellarby29/06/2021
From the otter haven at Kylerhea - straight up Beinn Buidhe to Bealach nam Mulachag, then up through minor crags. Return to Bealach before easy ascent of Sgurr na Coinnich then direct line back to Beinn BuidheRockdoctor08/05/2021
Solo, left B Udal at 8.15 in rain and low cloud. Rough traces followed over boggy, heathery ground. Steepish climb but easy enough - could be tricky descending in poor visibility. For me, the clouds rose but rain continued so partial views to Sgritheall, Broadford Bay, Kyle of Lochalsh. Just over two hours in all (didn’t bother with Caillich as getting cold in wet). No stops as too midgy!niallp11/08/2020
9 degrees at Bealach Udal, cloud base approx. 1200', ferocious SSW wind. Headed almost due north, picked up a faint ATV track most of way to ridge in thick mist. Nice tail wind became a vicious side wind to lochan and on to summit. Easier ascent than expected. On to Beinn Na Caillich.Wycombe Wanderer28/03/2019

A walk over the two Grahams on a wet afternoon after a morning drive up from Bridge of Orchy. Mainly out of the cloud though. Beinn na caillich rather more interesting than Sgurr na Coinich.dickscroop22/09/2017

Lunchtime round with Rob Wight as forecast rain did not arrive. from Bealach Udal Mast. Superb clear round, with extensive views to knoydart and of Kylerhea narrows. Rain started on Beinn ba Caillich. 3 hours.alexmaclennan22/05/2017

With Martin66, Otis & J on a very windy & wet afternoon from the highpoint on the road over Bealach Udal. Picked our way over rough ground on a compass bearing & just about got blown off the summit. Martin66 & Otis tried descending to the bealach below Beinn na Caillich but Otis got lifted off his feet, so it was a retreat back to the car. An hour later, sitting in the cafe in Kyle, the cloud & rain blew off the peaks & the sun came out... (and again solo 31/10/19)NotReallyABagger31/12/2013
Start: Bealach Udal. Notes: Climbed alone after Beinn na Caillich. Descended along obvious burn to Bealach Udal.raffemeister07/05/2013

Ascended from road to Kylerhea over rough but not challenging ground. Top in some snow. Great views to Skye Bridge, Cuillin and Knoydart.quadbarrel12/04/2013
W Jenx from road col. Steep up Coinnich and via frozen tarn. Snow and sun to trig/cairn. Down far side to col and scramble easy up Caillich. Down same then Western traverse inc minor 610m tops and to road. Easier it seemed than Fempsters suggestion of Easyern traverse, boulders and scree.nordicstar01/01/2013
Hideous midgey roadside camp with Darren at Bealach Udal road top hoping for some breeze -to no avail. Then a drizzly very rough, bog & heather ascent and linked to Beinn na Caillich. Return contoured across east flank of Coinnich -all rough and damp. To Broadford youth hostel to dry out and refuel. Then a lovely dry circuit around Beinn na Caillich.Chris Pearson19/07/2012
With Mrs G. No paths for this mountain so a slog over heather and scree. Not helped on this visit by persistent rain, snow and low cloud. We made the ascent from Kylerhea to Beinn na Caillich and then cut acros to Sgurr na Coinnich, not too easy in low visibility. Descent was to the Bealach Udal and return on the road.jonglew17/05/2012

From Bealach Udal. off over very rough heather, tussock and bog to reach easier going on first horizon. Easier underfoot and gentler slopes to E-W ridge. 3 or 4 tumps and to top at 11.00. Vanessa 9795. Large cairn 110m E seemed higher. to B N Caillich.arranc12/05/2007
Parked at Bealach Udal and quickly ascended. Unfortunately had to get back to Glenelg so no time for Beinn na Caillich.garyhoney22/06/2006
