From Kiloran up Balnahard track. Then up hillsdie to Beinn Bheag. Back to coll and up path to Carn Eoin and then across to Beinn Bhreac (rough path through heather for most of the way). Dropped down through wet gully to Balnahard track and walked out to beach where one of our party had a swim. Walked back along Balnahard track with a detour up to Meall na Monadh and Meall na Suiridhe. Fantastic day.
Wild goats in the area around Beinn Bhreac. | Fife Walking | 18/10/2022 |

On my first visit to Colonsay, I may as well make my first hill the highest. | Minto | 09/04/2022 |
Usual route. NB Lots of cattle on dunes so not advisable for dogs. Easy up to summit cairn from track. | AndrewFinnimore | 23/03/2022 |
From Colonsay House on a round of the hills on Colonsay's NE end. This the first, on to Beinn Bheag -> Meall nan Monadh -> Dun Crom -> Cnoc na Faire -> Pairc Gharbh -> Beinn nam Fitheach -> Cnoc Callanta. Also picked up the MacPhies and a trig bolt (searched for but not found) at Leac Bhuidhe on an 11 mile round with Andrew P. | jonglew | 10/09/2021 |
Cycled up from the Balnahard farm Road. Good path to the top. | NormanW | 25/08/2021 |

Day 2 of Macfies round with Rob. The Northern Macfoes terrain seemed easier than on Day 1, so this was faster than we expected. One of the few paths to summit. | alexmaclennan | 30/08/2020 |
From beach CP across the sand of beautiful Kiloran Bay, over a fence and grass to the concrete track. A zigzag pathlet up Carnan Eoin, passing primroses. Down to the telegraph gully and steeply up Beinn Bheag. Through heather down the far side to the track, leaving it to ascend Meall na Monadh. More or less in a straight line to Dun Crom - the electric fences were switched off. Round the obligatory tour des summits in the two highest rocky eminences. Too close to call: if anything the highest point on the scramble western top might edge out the phogrsphed summit in the eastern top. Back along the track and across the beach. | Nick Down1 | 19/04/2019 |
Second visit, evening stroll from a lovely camping pitch at Port Easdail | Colin Crawford | 27/07/2018 |
2nd tump of 9 on a 19.8km Northerly loop from the Backpackers lodge, climbing Beinn an Sgoltaire, then exploring Kiloran Bay and climbing Beinn Inebri with increasingly strong winds and rain. Easy path down and then on to Beinn Bheag... | Dazingdale | 09/05/2018 |
