An afternoon walk in the Shropshire hills centered on Church Stretton. A bright and breezy day, butties washed down with Irn Bru and wonderful views all around; just wish I'd done it south-to-north when coming down the steep slope on the south side!JOHNS25/11/2021

Beautiful 10.3 mile 2995ft of ascent walk from NT car park at Carding Mill Valley m(free for members - alternatively £4 per day in Church Stretton centre). Carding Mill Valley taking the east fork following the Jack Myton Way, Pole Bank, descent to Little Stretton along the ridge and easily bagging Grindle and Callow along the way, then Ragleth Hill and return through Church Stretton. This route includes a significant part of the Stretton Skyline Walk. After a coffee break at the NT cafe took the car to the car perk near Yearlet for a pleasant and easy ascent of the final hill within the area encompassed by this circuit.ijpowell27/05/2021

On an excellent walk taking a leisurely 5h.: Little Stretton- Ragleth Hill- Hazler Side- Gaer Stone- Hope Bowdler Hill, then via Cwms to the previously visited Caer Caradoc and down to Church Stretton via the Three Fingers Ridge (some path erosion at foot). The popularity is inevitable, these are unwaveringly interesting and good walking, short green turf on old green hills in spring sunshine (I forgot they were supposed to be blue today)pwheeler03/05/2017
