Third Hump of three for the day and definitely the pick of the bunch with outstanding views over the lower reaches of the Severn and the sun also putting in a welcome appearance too.Alex C11/11/2022
From Robinswood Hotel, why not, I was staying. Up the path south of Ski slopes onto golf course to highest point. Small cut through to upper path and summit. Fine views over Severn Valley.N.Morters23/09/2022
First visit for 22 years and it was nice to get into the robinswood Hill Country Park and gradually wander up the hill to the trig. Busy noisy M5 down to the south east and what sound like trail bikes making a noise in the hidden woodland below. Went into the new cafe when I got down to the car and heard a nice cup of tea and a vegan sausage roll and a really good piece of vegan chocolate cake. Feeling still a bit under the weather with cold and cough first of the week, put the fresh air and the walk was very necessary.vegibagger23/04/2022
From small free car park at the top of Fox Elms Road. Very muddy, steep paths. Great summit area though. Solo.Dangerous Dave14/01/2022

Parked in the free car park at the visitor's centre of Robinswood Hill Country Park. There is a great view from the top, well worth the effort to get there.Sprog12/08/2017
A round of Gloucester, Churchdown Hill from Church parking easy paths to top, nice view frim trig, Alney Island, nice to wander round but difficult to determine high point, Good pull up Robins Wood Hill & great views from Beacon/Trig, Leckhampton Hill from quarry parking, good views & interesting Devil's Chimney, Finally-quick jaunt through tall grass to Birdlip Trig & top, very warm all day some Sun.apricorum25/06/2017
Bagged as YSM665 Robinswood Hill. We had planned to do this last night in the dark but both being tired teds meant we got lost in the housing estate near the ski centre. I am sure Mr U2 will complain that it was all my fault as I was navigating to the wrong hill with a different trigpoint on it, I'm saying nothing until I've seen my brief! So glad we've didn't do it as it was a killer on the legs and had a great view at the beacon which we would have missed out on. Much quicker on the way down.thejackrustles25/04/2017
Lovely run/walk round & up to the beacon.AngiLala18/03/2017
Detour on journey S. Country Park. Ascent from the W over hard frozen ground. Great view point. Calm in bright morning sun under cloudless blue skies, slight mist in frosty vallies to the SE. BBQ sites just below summit worthy of an evening summer visit.RichardM20/01/2017
Highly recommended break from M5 ( J12). Superb views on clear frosty morning over Gloucester and Severn Vale . Trig, Beacon, BBQ sites, Topograph, benches, paths, information boards. We thought the HP is unmarked point on ridge path c 10 m before trig ie not in between trig and beacon.Denise 20/01/2017
From car park to northeyesofthenorth09/10/2016
From Robinwood county park. I followed the Geology trail up, visiting the foot, then rim of an interesting quarry. The geology of the hill, and the view, is well described on a summit signboard, admirably not dumbed down, but not too complicated (like the Observer series). A clear day, so extensive views, though Gloucester cathedral backed by the Malverns held the eye. Worth every one of the 100 mins.pwheeler22/09/2016

Steep up hill from the small car park and there are many paths through the woods forcing you to take a rather indirect route to a very nice summit.Swindon Bagger21/08/2015
1/9 quick walk up from the car park many muddy tracks criss cross the hill. Persevere and you will attain the top !Fergalh09/12/2014
With Ollie, Sue and Alice. Parked in CP off Fox Elms Road. Slipped and slid up over hill to top but worth the effort. Wall's factory clearly visible.Newton Maximus07/12/2014
On way back from Josua's open day at Plymouth University. He didn't bother getting out the car. Went up from the country park car park. Follow the rough Tarmacy path up from here.simon and co06/04/2014
From Country Park Car Park to N. The steep and muddy grass was treacherous on the descent, in the dark, wearing wellies.Chris Peart29/12/2013
A straightforward walk from the (free) car park to the north.JohnStoneham15/07/2012
Steep, slippery ascent from the car park marked on the 1:25k OS map SW of the summit. Return was past the dry ski slope and through a golf course.jonglew25/06/2012
Used busy car park to NW. This hill has numerous pathways up .The summit has fine views and is maked by a trig pillar, beacon and a millennium beacon. GR8 views on this lovely March morning.Dugswell205/03/2012
P near Fox Elms. Track and path to top is steep and slippy. Top seems to be just before you get to indicator. Unexpected narrow ridge with great views when out of trees 14:22chrisbien06/12/2011
Took one of the countless paths through the trees from the carpark. Grand views from the top.Herbert Anchovy18/11/2011
