From the A86 through Gallovie and to the end of the estate track for Creag nan Adhaircean first. Kept my micro spikes on to negotiate many frozen snow patches on the way to this hill. Visited both tops, then down the North ridge in the general direction of the outward path. Minus 7C at the start but it ended up a lovely sunny but cold day.NormanW09/01/2024
From layby on A86 at NN555899, briefly SW on A86, then on track past Gallovie S to bridge over R Pattack at NN553868 then through gate and roughly E on side track to near NN558868, then across moorland (contouring past stream valley) to N ridge and directly up that to summit, continuing to (twin) S top, descending NW then N back to the track near the Pattack bridge (probably would have been a better ascent route), and return to start (3h55m)kdbennett04/06/2022

Two summits almost the same heightalda09/07/2015
From a tent in Glen Pattack. Went around to the east of the hill via a newly restored/built path and then up to the south top. The north top cairn is worse for wear but does the job. Big views of Badenoch and Ben Alder.fasgadh19/05/2012

fine summit; dullish approach from S or E. circuit from Dalwhinnie RHW31/05/2003
An unusual approach as I was in kingussie with a bit of time to spare. Took train south to Dalwhinnie, 3km or so south on Loch WErischt track to the only firebreak. Straight up, over 'The Fara' ridge and continued west to summit on a fine clear day. A contrived but surprisingly pleasant route. back by same route except I got the wrong firebreak which did not go right though but sorted it in the end.dickscroopblank
