From Creag Gharbh. Steeply down to Glen Mazeran. Across the f/bridge and up through sparse trees to a cairn. Along the ridge to the HP. Steeply down SE through sparse trees to the road. with big J | Nozzer | 09/11/2023 |
Parked in an inshot just before a bend, at NH74296 21341. Steeply up, staying outside the fence, and through bracken largely on animal tracks, to the top of the fences and beyond to the summit ridge. Walked the length of the ridge, though the area with the cairn at the NW end looked lower than the earlier outcrops. Good views of the Glenmazeran Hills. | LizH | 27/08/2022 |
4 of 5: From Creag Gharbh. Steeply down to Glen Mazeran. Awkward electic fence. Across the f/bridge and up through sparse trees to a cairn. Along the ridge to the HP. Steeply down SE through sparse trees to the road. | ChrisR | 29/12/2019 |
From NW (Glen Mazeran) after Aonach Odhar. Was spotted by keeper on ridge when he was driving down the glen and he waited for me to get back down. I'd been trying to decide what the highest point was so had visited all the ring contours and to him i appeared to be acting very suspiciously. Once i'd assured him that I was nothing whatsoever to do with the RaptorPersecution website (not that he'd anything to hide, he assured me) and I'd complimented him on how well run his estate appeared to be and what a fine hill Cnoc Thulagain was he warmed to me and we'd a good chat. Was reminded it was the hind stalking season though and I shouldn't really be there. | Dave McG | 10/01/2019 |
Parking by road corner nr the hoose. Up the hill to fence line, aim for the corner at GR 74371 21669 and direct to top on its right side. A choice of tops but the rocky outcrop as good as any. | nordicstar | 08/06/2018 |
From 200m E of alda's track also R of fence out of sight. More stealth-like when on bike thats hidden in the roadside gorse. | Eddie | 08/02/2017 |
From start of track due south of summit. Keeping to right of deer fence from road avoids having to climb the fence and stays out of sight of the house at Daltomach. Pleasant ascent through silver birch trees. | alda | 10/03/2016 |
From parking on yellow road at NH 74658 21720 then NW over the hill to Glen Mazeran. Only took 45 minutes as was picked up just by Glenmazeran Lodge. | Alan Moore | 17/05/2014 |
Afternoon ascent from the south when it was a sub Marilyn and before I knew about Tumps. | JohnW | 09/08/2007 |
