Started from 726318 and took the more direct route following the stream. Soon had to swerve some gorse, thereafter fine going over tussocky grass. Signs that it might be a little boggy outside of Summer. The top was soon reached. Fine 360 views there taking in the Rhinogs, Trawsfynydd, Cadair Idris and and the nearby Craiglaseithin which I went on to do next. The attractive Llyn Geli Gain lies below Moel Ddu | Swifty Morgan | 22/06/2024 |

Moel Oernant, Craiglaseithin & Moel Ddu - Arenig - from Bronaber. Parked at SH 72612 31882 on grass next to Llyn Gelli-gain track. Track to dam, then off -path to Moel Oernant (found some binoculars, random) then Craiglaseithin then Moel Ddu (hard to decide which is the summit) then picked up path towards Penystryd very faintly and along road back to car. Low cloud around 400m but glimpses towards Rhinogydd & Llyn Trawsfynydd. | jacobrichmond | 10/11/2020 |

From 726318. Moel Ddu, Craiglaseithin and Moel Oernant. Nearly all off path. The weather had been dry for a while and the ground was not too wet or difficult. | clivevilla | 23/05/2019 |
