With Jo, from Millennium Stone: LWW to Danby High Moor (managed to remove water to photograph FB number). Weather: sunny, warm, good visibility.amblerbob20/08/2015
Snowy walk in thin mist....chunk out of the top eastern corner. Snowy ice encrusted damaged pillar sinking into the peat, only top two thirds showing above the landscape, in todays case, snowy heather. Would've needed an underwater camera with extra 'anti mud vision' technology if I'd wanted a pic of the FB!! top inch only visible above the muddy water!! even though I came equipped with trowel, it was useless. Approximately 4400 double paces walk (approx 7.3km) from Rosedale Head and back and then down to the Lion Inn for a welcome cup of coffee, 7.55am to 10.05 and await my lift back to York who'll picked me up about 11.15.vegibagger11/02/2015
