A circuit of Sharpitor, Peek Hill, Lowery Tor and Lether Tor from the car park by the pond. The summit ridge of Lether Tor is reminiscent of Striding Edge! | Nick Down1 | 18/07/2019 |

Not yet 7am and into the 3rd hour of my 25 hr 100 tors run/ walk and still enjoying the cool of the early morning before the scorching sun rose higher. Pleased to have threaded a route of sorts up through the bracken over Lower Leather and fortress like Leather Tor- although suprised to have walked into a bog when all else is bone dry . Scattered boulder clitter hindered a fast run down to the road where I had a hidden water bottle - keeping hydrated being the key today. | Chris Pearson | 22/07/2018 |

Only a hour in to the big 24 hour 100 tors run attempt run with the gang. Delayed here whilst John & I climbed up along the convoluted south ridge -ups and downs. Raining - and cold -not looking good. | Chris Pearson | 03/05/2014 |

After supper in our favourite restaurant of the week – Morrisons at Tavistock- 2 meals for £5.50 incl drinks. Drove up onto Dartmoor to do at 7pm Sharpitor a 400m top. v windy and misty – students- 2 lads and 3 girls trying to put a large tent up in freezing wind ! would it survive the night? From summit in the gloom followed wide path to nearby Leather Tor. We camped near Cadover Bridge (where OMM 2013 would start from) using car as a windbreak – short grass ideal. Rained in night. Awoke to rain | Chris Pearson | 10/08/2010 |
