From Pen y Pas carpark. Lucky to get booked in for a Sunday. Up PYG track on a fine day. Then the Crib Goch ridge. With Duncan.Campbell Singer08/10/2023
As part of the Snowdon Horseshoe.alunrees4018/04/2023
Parked on A4086, just east of the county boundary. Walked back along the road and up the permissive path to Pen y Pass. Took the PYG track to Bwlch y Moch, then followed the fence up to Craig Fach. A splendid summit for my final Simm of England + Wales!! Back to and along the PYG track up to the top of the zig zags, then right to Crib y Ddysgl, then back along the corrie rim to Snowdon. From the summit headed down the steep Watkin path, which thankfully was fairly snow free. Along the west ridge of the horseshoe, visiting Y Lliwedd (W+E peaks) and Lliwedd Bach. Then down to the Miner's Track, with a quick diversion to bag Clogwyn Pen Llechen. On reaching Pen y Pass went up and over Moel Berfedd, dropping down to the A4086. 19km in total with 1400m ascent, taking me 9 hours.silveracorn_alan15/04/2023

Uop to Bwlch y Moch then basically along the wall with miner diversions to tops including Carreg Gwalch. Stuck with that line to drop directly down to Pen y Pas. A very pleasant walk, starting a bit cloudy but soon cleared.dickscroop21/12/2021
A traverse of Snowdonifrom Pen y Pass to Llanberis including Craig Fach, Gallt y Wenallt, Y Llwedd, and Llechog. Weather improved throughout day. Rain cleared and clouds lifted. Eventually some sushine. Quiet on our route until we came upon the Watkin Path. But good to see so many folks having fun on the hills. With B and R.jenx22/05/2021
A Horns circular stravaig with Lindsey on a bright but hazy day. Park n ride bus Nantperis to Peny Y Pass. Miners track to Glaslyn to recce Y Gribin. Up grass to Pyg and east to Blwch Y Moch. Over the fence (lunch and a rest for LF) then up steeply to 609m summit of Craig Fach. Path east along The Horns is pleasantly undulating and follows the fence line. Took in Carreg Gwalch then descended unpathed grass to Miners. (Sunny Saturday meant Pyg and Miners were heaving but we didn't see a soul along The Horns)Skip17/04/2021

Summit no. 1 on another epic from Pen Y Gwyrd hotel to Llanberis via Crib Goch and Snowdon.Had my customary Cappuccino at the cafe at the Pen Y Pass before heading off on the Pyg track but I climbed from there up a gully to access the Craig Fach ridge and from there easily located the summit with its lovely red tinged sloping rock. Beautiful views across the Pen-y-pass. I continued on the track leading back onto the Pyg track at the intersection with the Crib Goch path.Dazingdale08/07/2014
