I think... Hard to tell the summit but I've earned the tick from the heather and peat bogs. Somewhere in between Killhope Law and Middlefell Moor.dchill0106/08/2023

Surprisingly easy ascent from 566. Wished I'd combined with Killhope Law instead of tackling Killhope Law via the western bog of despair.Wycombe Wanderer29/08/2022

Follow fain track to shooting cabin and good track to small cairn and return to border line and follow SW to Stangend Rigg. S to stone shelter and path to Lanehead. Return by Weardale Way to start. From 568 spot height. Mine track then well maintained shooting butt track nearly all the way to top of Killhope. Carried on to Stangend Rigg and Middlehope Moor. Surprisingly good underfoot. Short heather and bog free. Swirling mist in the valley and mostly sunny. With B and R.jenx09/11/2020

Minus 5C blue skies, covering of snow. Ideal day for uninteresting hill. From Killhope visiter centre on way to Killhope Law.John Lee08/12/2017
Parked at Lanehead and ran up to mining museum before taking the footpath opposite and climbing to the summit of Killhope Law. Then a descent to a derelict shooting hut, onto an unclear track before sharp right onto the bridleway. At the highest point, turned left and eventually made it to this unclear summit. Enjoyed the descent down to Lanehead.madaddo04/06/2017
Parked at 853433. A steady walk of 45 minutes return with GB. Reasonably dry underfoot for most of the way.bolton25/09/2015

Parked at county boundary, through a gate up beside the wall, through another gate, and then north on a faint track to the summit ridge. Summit unmarked and a few yards beyond a stake on the fell. Stangend Currick on route appears to have been largely destroyed?Fisky Boy10/09/2015
