Round of Gleann Meadail fr bunkhouse, 5.55am to 1:30pm. Started in sunshine w cool breeze, nearby summits clear but distant higher tops in cloud; cloud filled in over time but wind dropped, mild.NorfolkPT2126/06/2024
From Inverie (first boat 7.30am, last back 6.30pm, £15 return). Track/path followed to NM 833980 where easily crossed river. Up to Mam Uchd, then west via Sgurr an t-Sarairt to Beinn Bhuidhe. Lovely walk along ridge via Sgurr a'Choire Ghuirm and Sgurr Coire nan Goghar, dropping off SW to fence, then down fence, passing to east of Loch Bhraomisaig. Head for mast and find good track down from NM 78722 97870 which joins mapped track and FB over Inverie River. Finished 2pm with plenty time to get afternoon ferry at 4.15pmcarole engel20/05/2024

From the bunkhouse, up to Mam Meadail, along the ridge over the 610m point, Meall Bhasiter, Beinn Bhuidhe and up to 787m Simm Sgurr Coire nan Gobhair. Off steeply down ridge North towards Sgurr nam Feadan, then followed easy grassy slopes down the Allt Coire nan Gobhar to Loch Bhraomisaig and the damp. Then down the mast track (not as nice a descent as envisaged) and back around Kilchoan to the bunkhouse. 13.8 miles, 3780ft climbing.JulieB02/05/2023
From Sgurr a' Choire Ghuirm. Down steep grassy ridge N to lochan then N bank of Allt Coire nan Gobhar to Loch Bhraomisaig Dam. Down new track to Inverie River. Horribly steep & gravelly. Boggy path S of river to Inverie. Don't recommend way track or path KeithByTheC02/05/2023
Long circuit from Inverie: up to Mam Meadail, then over Meall Bhasiter and all the peaks on the ridge. Superb views, but hard work - very much the Rough Bounds here. Very steep descent to the west end of Loch Bhraomisaog, then via the curving burn to descend to the west of Kilchoan.21km 6h 30Rockdoctor03/04/2023

With MVW from Inverie via Gleann Meadail, up to Mam Uchd then to , Sgurr an't Sagairt, Beinn Bhuidhe, Sgurr Chorie Ghuirm, Sgurr Corie nan Gobhar then down to Loch Bhraomisaig to follow W burn to lower flat ground to Inverie to end the day in light rain.Frank10/04/2018
Overnight at Arisaig and early morning ferry to Inverie. Walked to Mam Meadhail and then back along the ridge to the summit. Chose a poor line of descent at the western edge of the ridge by a hydro scheme pipeline: not recommended. Warm and very hot. Stunning views in all directions.benalder28425/05/2017
Meall Bhasiter, Beinn Bhuidhe, Sgurr Coire nan Gabhar, A'Chruach. Ferry from Mallaig to Inverie, walk to Mam Meadail (good views to Sgurr na Ciche) and then along fine ridge. From Sgurr Coire nan Gabhar descended S to follow curving ridge eventually heading W, past some old workings, then NW to A'Chruach (two knolls, the NW one appearing higher). Camped overnight just below summit (fine spot overlooking Inverie) before descending NE to the village.RobertP21/05/2017
Along ridge from Bheinn Bhuidhe. Gentle in comparison to rest of ridge. Staggering views of the Western Isles as the sun went down. Complicated descent down north ridge. Awful final descent back to Glen Meadail. Deep tussocks.Campbell Singer23/10/2016

fine summit & view. descend N then W to Loch B dam RHW26/04/2003
Climbed during a 3 day stay in Inverie with Martin66 & JC. Hot, sweaty & airless day. Crossed the bridge over the Inverie River at 798988 & took to the N slopes of Sgurr nam Feadan, then round Coire nan Gobhar onto Sgurr Coire nan Gobhar & along to the summit. Continued E along the ridge to Mam Uchd & then dropped N to join the path back to Inverie. Not bad going underfoot considering it is Knoydart!NotReallyABagger13/05/2001
Returning from Beinn na Caillich to Inverie.Eddie11/01/2001
from Ghuirm. pleasant trudge on grass to bealach and up to final top at 15.25. Fine views over Inverie. Contour descent to south to avoid crags and step by step drop down to Loch B and 3/4 m over grassy uneven swamp and a final 1000' down to glen by steep sided stream runs boulders and swamp to bridge and to Pier. 14 1/2 miles - 8 hours.arranc30/06/2000
With friend. Staying at the Pier House, Inverie. We went along the road/track east from Inverie and then up Beinn Bhuidhe (855m) via Coire nan Gobhar. We went back to Sgùrr Coire nan Gobhar and then descended north to Sgùrr nan Feadan and then on horrible tussocky grass to Gleann Meadail.pwbellarby24/10/1999
