Climb from layby on A498 on path up to Bwlch y Rhediad - initially fairly steep but eases past intake wall. Then left on path around and over knolls up to summit rocks, always keeping close to the fence. | Amplifier | 24/06/2024 |
As clivevilla to the top of Carnedd y Cribau and return. Great views of Snowdon and Moel Siabod. | Campbell Singer | 14/10/2023 |
End of road parking beyond Blaneau Dolwyddelan. BW past Coed Mawr to where it crosses the stream and then followed tracks to get up to ridge. Great views today across to the Snowdon Horseshoe. On to northern top then back along ridge to Moel Meirch doing all tops to Ysgafell Wen north top heading back over Yr Arddu. | PeterD | 04/09/2023 |

From Dolwyddelan. Moel Siabod, Clogwyn Bwlch Y Maen and Carnedd Y Cribau. challenging conditions. | alunrees40 | 18/02/2023 |
From Siabod in ridiculously high crosswinds. A very easy walk between the two peaks taking in the minor top too. Cloud down to about 880m robbed us of the view of the Snowdon group. Back out along very wet paths back to Dolwyddelan- which felt a long way in new boots. With DB | stig_nest | 09/10/2022 |

From Llyn Gwynant campsite which has a excellent path up to Bwlch y Rhediad saving the need for a car park or bus, just over nine mile visiting in the summits of Carnedd y Cribau, Moel Meirch and Yr Arddu taking Six and a quarter hours. | WAYNE ROWLETT | 09/08/2022 |

1/5 Parked in the road side parking area at the end of the public road at SH 696 512. Followed RoW up past Coed Mawr, up to the old sheep fold at SH 676 525. Then small track to the ridge near Bwlch Maen Pig. Headed north along the ridge to Carnedd y Cribau, and on to Clogwyn Bwlch y maen. Turned round and followed ridge back to the col at Bwlch y Rhediad, then south up to Cerrig Cochion, and Moel Meirch. At the tarn crossed the fence and headed SE along the ridge of Yr Arddu, and down to the RoW, which I followed back to the car. A small, clear, albeit often very wet track most of the way. A round trip of 17km with 930m ascent in 6 hours. | silveracorn_alan | 14/04/2022 |

Route from Dolwyddelan. W along main road then by castle. Took path NW by Ceunant-y-Garnedd, but ford across stream was in spate so continued NNW and along N of forest. Ascending traverse steadily WNT to reach col just E of Clogwyn Bwlch-y-maen. Continued to Clogwyn Bwlch-y-maen then on to Carnedd y Cribau and rocky/wet route to the fine summit of Moel Meirch. Descended to NE end of Llyn Edno and then headed easily NE to summit of Yr Arddu. Descended NE along ridge to reach path to the road and rejoin the ascent route. | RobertP | 30/10/2021 |

With Minnie. From layby on A498, 657 527, up steep but easy to follow path to Bwlch y Rhediad, then path/scrambly bits to eventual top of Carnedd y Cribau, great views. easy path down then up onto Clogwyn Bwlch-y-maen then path down across grassland to Pen-y-Gwyrd, good track down Nant Cynnyd, then minor road & steep path back to layby. warm with light breeze, some cloud, even boggy bits were dry. | apricorum | 10/07/2018 |
Start ~ Pen y Gwryd Hotel. Cloudy afternoon with some sun, the previous heavy rain made the hill a vertical bog though, no other ascents logged this year and i can see why! Summit and views were good. Best ascended from the lakes below. With Wombourne. | steve hudson | 20/06/2018 |
Started at Pen y Gwryd and climbed Craig Goch then returned to road near the PG then straight up horrible bog which seemed to go all the way to the summit. The rain stopped and had some sun. Good views. With SH. | wombourne | 20/06/2018 |

Dolwyddelan- Daear Ddu- Moel Siabod then down its W ridge, up the N side of this considerable lump! This made a satisfying and interesting high level walk. Returned to Dolwyddelan via Bwlch y Rhediad. Cloud inversion to SW. Still, cold air confounded a buzzard's attempt to find any thermals. First ascent was on way to Moel Meirch, 15/1/2000, on an even colder day. | pwheeler | 18/02/2001 |
