Rowling End, Causey Pike, Scar Crags, Outerside, Stile End, Barrow. Solo as usual!simon and co31/08/2018
With Joanna. Rowling End:- Steep, tiring, hot, and horrible. We seen a tree though. Oh yeah, half a sheep's face too. As well as other bits of the same sheep laying about everywhere. Causey Pike:- Not sure if this was terrifying or exhilarating. Scar Crags:-Worth it. Such red. Wow. (The recent heat wave seems to have made all the plants red? It looked cool anyways.) Sail:- **** that path. The Rest:- We nearly ran out of water, so we decided to head back.. Then my GPS died, so I didn't log the last couple of miles. Awesome walk all in all. 11/10 would walk again.DAB8118/07/2018

Parked at Stair, Rowling End, Causey Pike, Scar Crags, Sail, Crag Hill, Outerside, Barrow. Cloud on top of Crag Hill, otherwise a sunny day with excellent views and strong winds.Fell_wanderer25/10/2017
Road closures but still managed to park near the bridge at 232212. Walked west from the summit and chose the easier way to descend on the path from Causey Pike. 70 minute return. Solo.bolton26/09/2017
Parked on a small area of hardstanding on S. side of bridge at 233212 - Up the stepped RoW for about 150yd, branched left & followed good path up steep NE ridge to unmarked summit knoll. Returned to car via Sleet Hause. DT's summit photo is interesting. (S)gerrybowes18/09/2017
Nipped out as weather good to bag some more Wainwrights and picked up some Birketts and Synges too. Up onto Barrow, Stile End, Outerside, waded across High Moss and up the path to the col between Scar Crags and Sail, path up to Sail still an eyesore, strange cold winds kept blowing through then disappearing again, very strange, also wafts of warm air coming up from the dark heather on the sunny slopes below, right and up Scar Crags and then the exquisite ridge along to Causey Pike. Quick bite to eat and climbed down Causey and down toward Rowling End. Took a slip on wet slopey grass/mud and ended up on my butt covered in mud. Nice. Over Rowling End and back down to the car. 3 and 1/2 hours. Nice walk.Mark T04/04/2017
