Started at parking spaces on The Hause for walk over Watermillock Fell- Great Meldrum- Swinburn's Park- The Hause. Easy; forest track now leads to gate for path up this hill, the path continues to the most capacious wall stile I've ever used (GR: 411220). Good track down to Swinburn's Park fp, which we found closed- we tried it but there was work going on so we had to retreat and instead returned alongside fences on W, the N side of Kirksty Brow. Started in a break in the rain but it drizzled and rained most of the time and our 2h 30 min was enough. Cloud dase on and off the Mell Fell tops so we had fair visibility throughout.
