Parked by cattle grid at SN 9123 9965 & up track past Hafodwen to join RoW - Left RoW at a section of wooden fencing next to field gate at SH 9101 0024 - Across pasture to the remains of two stone circles; leopard crawl under four electric fences en route. Currently, no cattle in field so not even sure if fences were actually live! (S)gerrybowes20/12/2021
Easy parking at Fron. Nice track up the hill - not sure if it was legal though. Visited both stone circles.PGCE11/02/2021
From 913997. The track was blocked by an easy to duck under electric fence and the summit was also surrounded by a live (I found out) electric fence with a herd of cattle within. The cattle were quite frisky and easy to discourage but I wasn't going to go back down without bagging the hill.clivevilla05/10/2019
From Dol-fach layby at SH 910 018. Returned via the lane to Diosg which I should have ascended by instead of the eastern side of the nant. The farmer drove up on the summit - off the RoW. Really nice young man, as Dick Emery drag character would say. Bagged two stone circles and the internal and external bits inside both.Eddie23/08/2018
Parked by cattle grid near pt. 293m. I had to walk down the road to the first gate to access the steep diagonal path shown on my map. It hardly existed and I finished following sheep tracks into the maze of electric fences. Some are used to make temporary 'drove roads'- very muddy but useful to get to the summit for fine views. I decided to head over pt. 412m- the W. Top (about 20 Snipe here) and head for the footpath through the access land. The fences were less awkward getting across the W. Top, and the path had a stile where it entered the access land, to give a trouble-free descent. Last of 3 today.pwheeler05/02/2018
Lots of electric fences to duck under making this top pretty faffy.Alex C29/04/2017

From SN 900 998.summitsup08/02/2013
Parked in lay-by on A470 NW of Dolfach at SH 90936 01968. Crossed river by bridge to Braich Odnant, then immediately right over stile into field at SH 91027 01782. Took overgrown RoW SW up gully to broken stile at SH 90604 01097 (would be hard in summer due to bracken). On reaching plateau, turned SSW to large cairn at SH 90503 00875, then on to Pt.412m(SH 90719 00230) by small wooded llyn. Then on to summit. Descended by RoW above Hafodwen, which I had to abandon as path indistinct and very muddy. Forded stream E of Hafodwen, then took lane back to A470, and walked back along road. I do not recommend my way back, as road dangerous for pedestrians! Better to return north by track to Diosg Farm.Man of Kernow113/01/2013
Parked in a lay by on busy A 430. Over a railway crossing with no path either side showing recent use. No signs either. Struggle up through vegetation to a steep wet grass field to a farm. Still no signs. Got to a green bridleway covered in muddy sheep tracks. None of the gates opened. On gravel zig zags to grassy top at 12.30.arranc01/09/2012
P nr cattle grid to SW. Steep diagonal to top of track then onto flat summit.chrisbien12/03/2012
