Parked just outside the distillery for a circuit of 12 summits. 8/12 | PGCE | 07/08/2024 |
Parked at the Crathie car park, set off at 11:30 with the intention of camping on the Lochnagar plateau and listening to the Eurovision final. But the wind was stronger than forecast once out of the trees and I was not prepared for the weight of my bag (Im very unfit).

So I dumped my overnight stuff in the Gelder Sheil bothy. Then ascended up Creag Liath followed by Meall Coire na Saobhaidhe, returning to the bothy bypassing the first summit.

I spent Saturday 11th at the bothy, which was in a very good condition, met a nice couple from Edinburgh (Nick and Helen). I walked out on Sunday morning, with a lighter bag. | chillyman8 | 11/05/2024 |

Solo. From the car park at Spittal of Glenmuick. After ascending Little Pap, Cuidhe Cròm, Cac Càrn Mòr, Cac Càrn Beag and Meall Coire na Saobhaidhe. Went to Creag Liath. Summit has a few stones on a rock. Returned ESE, going to the north of Meikle Pap, to join usual ascent route of Lochnagar and so back to the start. Much light rain on the latter part of the walk. | pwbellarby | 02/08/2016 |
